The yellow colorform without any red or pink coloration is described as Bulbophyllum retusiusculum f. flavum, the dark brown colorform as Bulbophyllum retusiusculum f. brunneum. Bulbophyllum retusiusculum f. flavum is similar to the typical forma Bulbophyllum retusiusculum RCHB. F., Gardeners' Chronicle 1869: 1182, 1869, but the new forma differs by the color. The sepals, petals and lip are yellow without any red coloration. Bulbophyllum retusiusculum f. brunneum is similar to the typical forma Bulbophyllum retusiusculum RCHB. F., Gardeners' Chronicle 1869: 1182, 1869, but the new forma differs by the color. The sepals, petals and lip are dark brown. Published in Die Orchidee 5(02), 2019/E-Paper |
